What is Varicose Vein?“There are certain signs that a person may be suffering from varicose vein problems. Swelling and itching in the legs. Nerves begin to thicken. There may be pain, heaviness and swelling in the calf area. This problem can be solved by stretching the legs and resting them. After waking up at night, you may feel that the leg swelling has reduced. Dark skin around the feet and ankles. Women with such symptoms should consult a doctor. We call varicose veins. This is what we call the swollen and painfully enlarged veins that are mainly found around the inner thigh, knee and back of the leg, calf area. Caused by obstruction of blood flow. Pain in the legs from waist to feet. It causes nerve and heart damage if left untreated.

“Who is affected by this disease? People who work standing for long hours, lift heavy objects, post-partum women and overweight people can also be affected by this disease. It is also possible to get this disease due to hereditary and genetic reasons. People with such symptoms can detect the problem of varicose veins in the early stages by ultrasound and doppler scan done on both legs. Wearing stockings called stockings from morning to night is only a temporary solution. Proper treatment should be taken to correct the problem of varicose veins.
